TERMS OF SALE
Payment
  • We collect any balance payment on arrival of furniture at customer's shipping address. On arrival, we first display the product to the customer for inspection. If everything looks good, customer is asked to make balance payment and then delivery team unpacks the product and moves it inside the customer premises.
  • We provide full cash on delivery payment option for all of our products. But at times, seller may request us for a token amount of upto 10% of the order value as order confirmation before product is shipped. You would be notified if there is any such requirement for your order in confirmation call. Such token amount is than coordinated to be picked from your address or paid online through link provided by us.
  • For customized orders, we require 50% advance payment and these orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable as they are specifically made for your chosen dimensions and requirements.
  • For EMI payments, service tax, education cess and other taxes will be levied by the banks on the charges levied by them for the EMI facility as mandated by applicable laws and regulations.
Warranty
  • Standard warranty of one year is provided by seller on the manufacturing defects. Finishing issues or regular wear and tear does not qualify as manufacturing defect.
  • Buyer agrees to use the products for its standard use and within its limitations. Seller holds no warranty for inappropriate use/mishanding of products, for e.g., standing on sofa or its arms or standing on table, too much shifting/handling of the products.
  • There is no warranty offered on any glass and fabric material as they tend to be fragile and need proper care and their life depends on the usage of these products. However, if you feel there is any manufacturing defect in this material, we may inspect and try to provide best available solution.
  • Warranty covers repairing the defective parts as appropriate. For e.g., if a manufacturing defect is observed in regular use of the product, seller would provide all possible alternatives to fix or minimize the defect. In rare cases, it may require additional payment from customer to rectify the problem. However we would do our best in fixing things at zero cost or negligible prices to the customer.
Returns and Refunds
  • Returns are only possible at the time of delivery. Once the item is delivered, seller would be providing all the customer service as covered under the warranty.
  • Items can be returned without any charges if either customer is not happy with the quality of the product or there is a genuine reason for return. However, if customer wants to return the product without proper reason, customer may be asked to pay Rs 500 as charges to offer this service to the customer. We encourage customers to finalize the product that they like and we are happy to bring it to their address so they can verify the quality and finishing of the product, with a choice to return it for free if the product is not up to the standard.
  • Item is not eligible for returns because of minor finishing/touching issues that may have incurred in shipping and handling of the product. Seller is expected to provide the required finishing touches at customer’s place as needed.
  • All refunds are processed from our side within 24 hours. For Cash on Delivery products, advance payment, if any, is returned immediately and for online payments, we process return from our side in 24 hours and then it may take 3-5 days as per your bank's standard processing time.
Customer Service
  • We will be available to assist and coordinate with sellers as and when required by our customers. Customer must note and acknowledge that Furniture48.com is not legally liable to provide after sales service as per the agreement. However, we would make all our efforts to get you the desired level of service from seller or from our team in case seller is not able to provide satisfactory service.
  • Customers must first try to directly contact the seller for any service related to the purchased product. Seller will do their best to provide service in timely fashion. However if customer feels that they are not getting the desired service, our team will be available to coordinate with seller and provide the best service to you.
Shipping and Delivery schedule
  • We try our best to deliver your item at the earliest within 2 business days following the day when order is placed.
  • Your exact delivery time will be coordinated with you through our sales executive.
  • Handling charges for delivering to destination floor other than ground floor are levied extra depending on the floor and whether delivering from stairs or service lift. Handling charges are to be paid at the time of delivery and these charges would be communicated to customers in their confirmation call.
